WHAT IS CEMENT MORTAR PIPE LINING TECHNOLOGY?

Cement Mortar Lining (CML) technology is a trenchless rehabilitation method that employs centrifugal force or compressed air to uniformly apply a cement mortar layer onto the interior surface of existing structures, thereby creating a durable and seamless inner lining. This technique is distinguished by its broad applicability, operational flexibility, and high efficiency. The methodology primarily three types of construction techniques: Centrifugal Spraying Method for Manhole Rehabilitation, Centrifugal Spraying Method for Pipeline Rehabilitation, Air-Stream Spraying Method. CML technology is widely utilized for the structural rehabilitation and reinforcement of drainage systems, including manholes, pipelines, and box culverts, without the need for extensive excavation.

Technique 1

CENTRIFUGAL SPRAYING METHOD FOR MANHOLE REHABILITATION

This technique involves the use of a high-speed rotary spraying device that generates centrifugal force to uniformly and continuously apply a pre-mixed sprayable material onto the inner walls of the manhole to be rehabilitated.

The rotary sprayer is suspended and moved vertically within the manhole using a winch system, ensuring the formation of a consistent and continuous lining with uniform thickness.

This method is highly effective for restoring structural integrity and extending the service life of manholes without the need for excavation.

KEY FEATURES

  • Structural Rehabilitation: Tailored lining thickness accommodates burial depth, groundwater, and vehicular loads, ensuring robust performance under diverse stresses.

  • Advanced Material: Fiber-reinforced shotcrete offers high strength, impermeability, and durability for long-term reliability.

  • Composite Behavior: The lining bonds seamlessly with existing walls, enhancing load-bearing capacity and extending service life.

  • Multi-Layer Application: Ensures uniform, dense, and impermeable linings through controlled, layered spraying.

  • Automated Process: Eliminates the need for personnel entry, ensuring safety and efficiency regardless of manhole depth.

  • Trenchless Solution: Minimizes surface disruption, offering an environmentally and socially sustainable rehabilitation method.

Technique 2

CENTRIFUGAL SPRAYING METHOD FOR PIPELINE REHABILITATION

This method utilizes a centrifugal spraying machine that travels at a constant speed through the pipeline. The centrifugal force generated by the machine propels the sprayable material at high velocity onto the inner walls of the pipeline, forming a durable lining.

The thickness of each sprayed layer is typically controlled within the range of 10-20 mm. For designs requiring greater lining thickness, multiple layers can be applied sequentially, with subsequent layers sprayed only after the previous layer has achieved initial set.

This technique is applicable to the trenchless rehabilitation of various types of drainage pipelines, including those made of concrete, clay, brick, metal, and plastic.

Technique 3

AIR-STREAM SPRAYING METHOD

This technique involves the separate delivery of sprayable material and compressed air through pipelines to a spray gun nozzle, where they are mixed and then projected at high velocity onto the surface to be rehabilitated, forming a robust lining.

The Air-Stream Spraying Method is widely used for the trenchless rehabilitation and reinforcement of large, accessible structures such as chambers, pipelines, box culverts, tunnels, and other large-scale infrastructure. Its versatility and efficiency make it a preferred choice for non-destructive repair applications in complex and expansive environments.

WHAT WE OFFER

Cement Mortar

Anyue Cement Mortar is a trenchless rehabilitation material composed primarily of cement-based inorganic binders, enhanced with fibers, quartz sand aggregates, and specialized performance additives. Manufactured using dedicated equipment and packaged for consistency, this material offers exceptional pumpability, thick-layer application properties, mechanical strength, durability, impermeability, and spray application performance. It is suitable for use on wet surfaces and is widely applied in the trenchless rehabilitation and reinforcement of municipal manholes, drainage pipelines, box culverts, tunnels, and similar structures.

A key feature of this material is the inclusion of antimicrobial additives, which provide long-term resistance to microbial corrosion in environments exposed to hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) in wastewater. This makes Anyue cement mortar an ideal solution for durable, non-invasive repairs in challenging sewer and wastewater infrastructure.
