UV CIPP LINING - DN2000 ARCH PIPE SUCCESS REPAIR IN WINTER

Within just 48 hours, the team restored a 28-meter long, 2.2-meter wide arch-shaped corrugated metal pipe to better-than-new condition.

In the harsh winter, with temperatures plunging to -7°C and snow falling, Anyue's partner completed a landmark pipeline rehabilitation project that defied extreme weather conditions. Within just 48 hours, the team restored a 28-meter long, 2.2-meter wide arch-shaped corrugated metal pipe to better-than-new condition.

The Challenge: A Perfect Storm of Difficult Conditions

The arch-shaped drainage pipe, crucial to local infrastructure, showed severe corrosion and multiple structural failures. Spanning beneath a major roadway, traditional excavation methods would have caused significant traffic disruptions - an unacceptable option for the community. The unique arch design, standing 1.6 meters tall, presented additional complexities that conventional rehabilitation methods couldn't address, especially during winter conditions.

Engineering Solutions for Extreme Conditions

Anyue technicians John Yang and Zelin Li arrived on site equipped with the DN2000 UV Curing System and specialized 19mm thick UV liner. Weighing 7 tons, this engineered material combines AOC resin and alkali-resistant glass fiber to deliver exceptional corrosion resistance and structural strength.

"This ranked among our most demanding American projects," noted John Yang from the jobsite. "We weren't just battling the cold's effect on materials - the arch shape itself demanded innovative thinking from start to finish."

The Installation: Precision in Freezing Conditions

Day one began with thorough pipe cleaning, followed by the careful installation of the 7-ton liner. In sub-zero temperatures, the team engineered a custom pulley system to navigate the material's reduced flexibility, ensuring the "heavyweight champion" of UV liners moved smoothly into position.

On day two, the team implemented their groundbreaking dual-lamp setup. "The arch shape created significant distance between the UV lamps and the pipe crown," explained Zelin Li. "By running two lamp chains in parallel, we achieved complete UV coverage across the entire surface area - something impossible with conventional single-lamp approaches."

Throughout the curing process, technicians continuously monitored temperature curves with Anyue UV equipment, ensuring optimal material performance despite the freezing environment. The result: a perfectly bonded liner creating a smooth, continuous interior surface.

Transformation and Results

The rehabilitated pipe not only regained full functionality but exceeds its original structural capabilities. The slick interior surface improves flow characteristics, while the 19mm thickness guarantees long-term performance. The local project superintendent marveled: "Anyue's team and technology solved what seemed like an impossible situation. The results speak for themselves."

Setting New Global Standards

This project demonstrates Anyue's capability to handle specialized pipe geometries under extreme environmental conditions, establishing new possibilities for large-diameter, non-circular pipe rehabilitation worldwide. The success reinforces Anyue's technical leadership in American markets while setting new global benchmarks for specialized pipe rehabilitation.

"We believe engineering innovation can overcome any environmental challenge," John Yang concluded. "This project proves that Anyue delivers reliable solutions - no matter what conditions we face."
